Our History

In 2019, our League is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The League has come a long way since its inception in 1919, however members have not forgotten the League’s beginnings and we are grateful to all the members who contributed to the League’s tremendous success.

Members dedicate valuable time, resources and knowledge enabling the JLP to positively impact the community. Our Junior League’s legacy is well entrenched in Poughkeepsie and will continue to provide valuable community volunteers and community projects for the next 86 years!
