While this past year has been far from normal, we still were able to accomplish wonderful things in our community thanks to our loyal JLP members. Girls Empowerment hosted virtual seminars in the fall and spring. We supported Dutchess Outreach through Operation Holiday Box. We awarded two $500 community grants to North East Community Center and Unshattered as well as awarded the JLP Scholarship at DCC. A virtual Super Saturday provided leadership training to our members.
While in-person meetings and events have been put on hold due to the global pandemic, the JLP has planned a socially distanced way to celebrate the mothers at Grace Smith House to allow us to continue our signature Mother’s Day Dinner event. Details of these events and more will be available in the upcoming Greenleaf, which will be posted on the website.
As we approach a new year, we hope that you will continue to support the Junior League’s mission by renewing your membership with us!
Membership dues will not increase this year. Membership dues for the June 2021 – May 2022 year are due by July 15, 2021 and are as follows:
Active Member Dues: $115
Sustaining Member Dues: $100
Active members in good standing that have completed seven years of active membership and wish to become Sustaining Members, may submit an email to jlpoughkeepsie@gmail.com or letter in writing, stating such intent with their payment.
Online payments are preferred.
