I can’t even begin to count how many times I have started, edited, deleted, and started again to write my President’s Message for our 2021-2022 year. Do I want to sound welcoming and excited for the coming year, even though COVID-19 still lingers over our heads? Do I want to sound cautious and focus on all the changes that our League will need to face once again? Do I avoid referencing the pandemic entirely and pretend it’s not still affecting all our lives in one way or another?

The Junior League of Poughkeepsie is now accepting applications from a not-for- profit, tax exempt corporation, for two $500 Grants, to address a certain and specific need in the community! *NOT limited to Dutchess County, expanded to the greater Hudson Valley!*

Typically, the JLP votes in person for the new Slate, but due to social distancing, we are unable to meet in person.
As a result, we invite all Members to vote via Zoom during our Wednesday 05/27/2020 GMM.
