The Junior League of Poughkeepsie has a wonderful Provisional Cocktail Mixer with actives, sustainers and potential provisionals! We all enjoyed the meet and greet and look forward to another successful JLP year and provisional class! Thank you to all that attended, Farmers and Chefs Restaurant for the yummy food and drinks, and to Provisional Chair Linda F. for organizing such a fun evening.

The Junior League of Poughkeepsie was recently featured in the Hudson Valley Press!
It reads:
Not only could area youth be seen chatting with police officers, asking them questions and checking out the various equipment they use on the job, but they also had the opportunity to get free, donated books. In an attempt to promote literacy, The Junior League of Poughkeepsie, an organization of women who contribute to their community in a host of altruistic ways, were on hand with an impressive amount of books to hand out to children.
On Tuesday August 6, 2019, the Junior League of Poughkeepsie attended National Night Out, hosted by the City of Poughkeepsie Police Athletic League.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
The Junior League of Poughkeepsie was in attendance to hand out books, coloring pages, and to support our local community.
Marist is gearing up for their online information sessions for their Graduate programs. It is a simple and effective way for members and volunteers to get information on programs they may be interested in from the comfort of their own home or office.
