At the June Dinner, the Junior League of Poughkeepsie was honored to present its Active Member of the Year award, and Provisional Member of the Year award.
The Junior League of Poughkeepsie’s 2018-2019 Provisional Class have completed their incredible class project.
These amazing women have successfully renovated the supervision room at the CPCA center.

The Junior League of Poughkeepsie is now accepting applications from a not-for- profit, tax exempt corporation, for a $500 Grant, to address a certain and specific need in the community! *NOT limited to Dutchess County, expanded to the greater Hudson Valley!*
Today, the Junior League of Poughkeepsie was on the Woodman in the Morning show on K104 to discuss out upcoming Denim & Diamonds gala!
The Junior League of Poughkeepsie and the Mid-Hudson Women’s Bar Association have teamed up in their efforts to once again help the community they live in! We are looking to raise funds to create and frame an exhibit of students’ art work in the waiting areas of the Family Court building. We are planning on having about 70 prints displayed on the second and third floor waiting areas. They have been working with The Art Effect (formerly Mill Street Loft), in compiling the exhibits, and look forward to beautifying the courthouse!
Please donate what you can to help us raise the funds necessary to have the artwork digitally printed and then framed! Our goal is $1300. Please give what you can and make the Family Court a less dreary place for those who have to enter on a daily basis.

The selected honorees will be named this summer and honored at our 2018 Denim and Diamonds Gala in the fall. On Sunday, March 18th, Provisionals, Actives and Sustainers all gathered together at the home of our gracious host Susan Moore for our Annual Irish Coffee Event! A wonderful time was had by all, feasting on some delicious food and drink, hearing about all the great events coming up for the JLP, and ending the afternoon with a wonderful sing-along led by Active member Caroline Blackburn!
